I'm sitting in an almost empty bus. Someone who I went to school with - but have no idea of his name comes onboard and plonks down next to me.
Oh my gosh! He smells! And not in a good way. He smells like a mixture of gym socks, damp clothes at the bottom of the haversack after days of camping and rotting vegetation.
Yes, yes, I know I'm being a woman. But I have to write to distract myself. You see, I'm trapped. Because the bus is empty it will be too obvious if I get up to change my seat. So all I can do is hold my breath till my stop and hope the smell doesn't get on me.
Urgh!
