Getting up in the morning is getting harder.
It might be because I've been getting off work later and hence sleeping later.
But today, as I was rushing around like a headless chicken at work, I was hit by the realisation of the truth.
Remember when you were in Primary 1 or 2, and it was so hard to get up in the morning to go to school? Well, I did. It was probably because I dreaded going to school. Having to carry a heavy school bag, sit still in class trying to pay attention to teachers who would rip your head off if you step out of line was not something a 7 year old would relish as compared to spending the day at home with Grandma and just watching tv.
Perhaps today, I'm dreading having to go to work.
Perhaps.
