How many times has this happened to you? You know, when you get change back (in coins) and realise that the hawker/vendor/sales assistant has either given you ringgit or the old fish series coins which are not in use anymore.
What do you do with them? Keep them in a jar and lament how careless you were? Or pass them off at the next possible juncture to the next unsuspecting person. A matter of cheat cos you've been cheated.
I got more ringgit coins yesterday. Dunno from where though. Its sitting in the drawer at the moment, whilst I contemplate what to do with them.
Oh, FYI, the RM$1 coin is being phased out, so do dig into your drawers and make a trip down to JB to spend them all. They are going back to using the note cos apparently up to a third of all $1 coins in circulation are fake. Its going to suck going to a vending machine in Malaysia from now. Ha.
