1. Boss is away on holiday this week... am going to try to find ways to skive... haha...
2. At least this gives me time to clear my back-dated work, and watch a few more World Cup games.
3. At dinner last night, my 6 year old cousin (who weighs 22 pounds) claims she is on a diet and hence eaing like a mouse. I think there is fundamentally something wrong with society when a small girl insists to going on a diet. Too much tv influence perhaps? Media? Slimming ads? Am frustrated and worried. Would need to digest and discuss.
4. Always though watching footie with girls would be boring. Watched a game at Su's place with a gang of girls, who surprisingly knew about the offside rule, the players of the teams and the tactics they use. Bravo! Go girls!
5. My increasing frustration with a Boss who is not trustworthy is creeping up on me. I shall take this week to look for a job. Any offers?
6. Lil' Bro is going to Italy this week. I envy. Have fun B3! Dun forget to take many lovely photos of Florence.
7. The best place to watch footie is in a pub, where all the players are fervent supporters of one team. Was in such a place in Euro 2004. Man, I miss it. The newspapers have complained about the lack of atmosphere in Singapore. Its not hard to see why. Imagine, Singapore does not have a team in the World Cup, and our only representative there is a referee and 3 children who hold the hands of players as they exit the pitch. So how are we supposed to be excited? Do we cheer whenever they appear, or when they make a good decision? Haha.
8. Discovered the GF likes to play PS2 too. Woopee!

omg. you have to really sound your cousin out. she could be losing all the nutrients she needs from food. maybe direct her to eat the right foods, instead of less food?
How do you talk sense into a 6 year old?
maybe you should scare her by showing picture of anorexic ladies? tell her that if she does not eat enough she will become like that?
and you should tell your auntie. anyway, she should know her best. find out too who's influencing her with such thoughts.
I think 6 year olds have no idea of how bad they can do to themselves. For example, when I was younger i thought wearing glasses was cool, and hence didnt stop reading whilst lying down.
My aunt thinks its a joke. Old school ppl dun think their children can be anorexic / take drugs / smoke...
I really think it comes from TV.
Be cautious posting abut your boss and looking for more work... these things on the internet can catch up with you!
(From experience....)
Thanks Rob,
But i work in a small company, and my boss is a tech dinosaur.
Haha.
