Caught the movie partially because it is part of the whole Avengers francise (Iron Man, Thor, Cap America)Spent the movie looking out for easter eggs like when Stan Lee will appear, and if any references to the other characters of the Avengers will be made.
"Is that one of Stark's toys?" - to the Destroyer
"Hawk eye and Black Widow" - both made cameos
All in all, the movie was not really entertaining. The love story between Natalie and Thor seemed a little too contrived and haphardly stapled together into the plot, how the story keeps jumping between Asgard and Earth, led one to wonder if the writers could have done a better job.
No complaints though on the acting, special effects and CGI. Natalie Portman shows her stuff in being about to do a Black Swan, followed immediately by her role as a quirky scientist needing rescue in Thor.
Movie only to watch if you are fan boy like me.
